    Un appel à trois bourses de thèse est ouvert aux diplômés de master des universités non françaises

    La demande doit être présentée en anglais sur notre site web, avant le 3 mai 2020 à minuit (heure de Marseille), sous la forme d’un DOCUMENT PDF UNIQUE contenant :

    • Un curriculum vitae (avec copie des diplômes obtenus)
    • Le document (« Choix des projets de recherche ») mettant en évidence l’adéquation entre le parcours du candidat et les deux projets de recherche retenus
    • Une lettre de motivation (500 mots max)

    Les candidats retenus doivent s’inscrire pour leur doctorat à AMU, en neurosciences, et faire leurs travaux de recherche à temps plein dans un laboratoire de recherche d’AMU pour une période de 3 ans débutant au plus tard en décembre 2020.

    International Master’s Fellowships for nationals of low-and middle-income countries

    This scheme offers nationals of low- and middle-income countries the opportunity to receive training at Master’s degree level.

    An International Master’s Fellowship is for 30 months, unless you want to hold it on a part-time basis. 

    The first 12 months should be dedicated to doing a taught Master of Science (MSc) course at a recognised centre of excellence anywhere in the world.

    The following 18 months is for your research project at an eligible organisation in a low- or middle-income country.

    The call for the World Bank Scholarship is now open

    Who is Eligible to Apply?

    Details on Eligibility Criteria for each call for applications are provided in that call’s Application Guidelines, and these detailed eligibility criteria are strictly adhered to. No exceptions are made.

    Broadly speaking, Developing Country nationals must:

    • Be a national of a World Bank member developing country on this list;
    • Not hold dual citizenship of any developed country;
    • Be in good health;
    • Hold a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree earned at least 3 years prior to the Application Deadline date;

    • Have 3 years or more of recent development-related work experience after earning a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree;
    • Be employed in development-related work in a paid full- time position at the time of submitting the scholarship application.  The only exception to this criterion is for developing country nationals from a country that will be on the updated list of Fragile and Conflict States provided to applicants in the Application Guidelines for each call for scholarships.

    Sophie Danforth conservation biology fund: grant application process for 2020

    Funds for elements of a project that will have already occurred before awards are granted are not eligible for grants

    Applicants must be associated with an organization (e.g. NGO, university, etc.) through which s/he can receive funding. Organizations, not individuals, receive funding check. There are no eligibility restrictions on the nationality of the applicant.

    Projects that have been funded by the SDCBF are eligible for a second year of funding. A second application must be submitted according to the application guidelines, along with a progress report from the first year of SDCBF funding.

    National Geographic Society Grants for Journalists and storytellers of Tropical Rain-forests Stories 2020

    National Geographic is interested in supporting storytelling projects Tropical Rain-forests

    Journalists and storytellers (photo, film, text, maps, data visualization) are allowed to apply, as are social media influencers and content creators looking to highlight traditional and indigenous knowledge on their channels and indigenous youth aiming to expand their storytelling on YouTube and Instagram. Priority for this RFP will be given to projects led by journalists and storytellers from countries within the relevant regions (Amazon River basin, Congo River basin, and rainforests in southeast Asia). Projects that benefit local communities or incorporate local voices are also strongly encouraged, as are local-language outputs.

    All applicants are encouraged to go through the standard application process. However, if English is not your first language, you may submit a Letter of Intent in your preferred language through this form by April 15, 2020. These letters will be reviewed, and those with work that aligns with our priorities will be selected to receive assistance in completing the full application in English. Please note that this system is designed for people for whom submitting in English would be a barrier to application. If this is not your case, we ask that you submit through the regular channels.

    Bourses aux doctorants en histoire, archéologie et sciences sociales 2020

    La réception des dossiers est ouverte jusqu’au 31 Mars 2020

    L’École française de Rome propose chaque année des mensualités de bourse, destinées à assurer l’accueil temporaire de jeunes chercheurs dont les travaux nécessitent un séjour en Italie (article 25 du décret n°2011-164 du 10 février 2011). Comme le précisait l’article 1 de l’arrêté du 19 septembre 1974, « les travaux et recherches des bénéficiaires doivent correspondre à la mission scientifique dévolue à l’École française de Rome ». Dans ce contexte, les bourses ont pour mission d’aider les doctorants au cours des premières années de leur travail de thèse.

    Bourse de recherche doctorale et post doctorale

    Le musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac propose chaque année des bourses doctorales et postdoctorales destinées à aider des doctorant.e.s et de jeunes docteur.e.s à mener à bien des projets de recherche originaux et innovants.

    Les disciplines concernées sont : l’anthropologie, l’ethnomusicologie, l’histoire de l’art, l’histoire, l’archéologie (hors paléontologie), la sociologie, les arts du spectacle.

    Les domaines de recherche privilégiés sont : les arts occidentaux et extra-occidentaux, les patrimoines matériels et immatériels, les institutions muséales et leurs collections, la performance rituelle, les techniques et la culture matérielle.

    Les projets particulièrement susceptibles de tirer parti de l’environnement du musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac (collections, archives, médiathèque, communauté scientifique) seront examinés avec la plus grande attention.
