The 2023 World Bank Scholarships Program
The World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program is open to citizens of certain developing countries
The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) is open to citizens of certain developing countries with relevant professional experience and a history of supporting their countries’ development efforts who are applying to a master degree program in a development-related topic.
Subject to available funding, JJWBGSP offers scholarships for 45 Participating Master’s Programs in 27 universities in U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania and Japan in key areas of development, including economic policy management, tax policy, and infrastructure management.
Please note that if you are not admitted to one of these 45 Participating Master’s Programs, you are not eligible to apply for a JJWBGSP Scholarship in 2023.

The award is open to Cameroonians of both sexes
Eligibility:
- Be of Cameroonian nationality;
- Be a holder of the GCE Ordinary and Advanced Levels certificates or their
equivalents with at least a fairly good grade forundergraduate studies; - Be a holder of a GCE Ordinary and Advanced Levels (or their equivalents) and a

2022 Graduate Scholarship Program is open to citizens of certain developing countries
The scholarship is open to women and men from developing countries.
The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) is open to citizens of certain developing countries with relevant professional experience and a history of supporting their countries’ development efforts who are applying to a master degree program in a development-related topic.

Who is Eligible to Apply?
Details on Eligibility Criteria for each call for applications are provided in that call’s Application Guidelines, and these detailed eligibility criteria are strictly adhered to. No exceptions are made.
Broadly speaking, Developing Country nationals must:
- Be a national of a World Bank member developing country on this list; Not hold dual citizenship of any developed country;
- Be in good health; Hold a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree earned at least 3 years prior to the Application Deadline date;
- Have 3 years or more of recent development-related work experience after earning a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree;

2022 SCHWARZMAN SCHOLARSHIPS IN CHINA
Up to 200 Schwarzman Scholars will represent the world’s next generation of leaders
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university
Applicants who are currently enrolled in undergraduate degree programs must be on track to successfully complete all degree requirements by August 1 of their enrollment year. There are no requirements for a specific field of undergraduate study; all fields are welcome, but it will be important for applicants, regardless of undergraduate major, to articulate how participating in Schwarzman Scholars will help develop their leadership potential within their field.
Age requirement
Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year.
The Application Deadline is May 20, 2022 – 23:59, Beijing time. Late applications, even due to latency issues or last minute emergencies, will not be accepted.

Apply for the ALGANT Master Program 2022-2024

Admission criteria
The ideal candidate must possess an academic degree from a program in mathematics lasting a minimum of three years (Bachelor). A thorough proficiency in English is required. For each student a program will be tailored individually, but every student will have to go through two hosting institutions of the consortium. Applicants should:
- have completed a Bachelor of science degree in Mathematics or equivalent with a special focus on Algebra, Geometry and Number Theory, with good results;
- have a thorough proficiency in written and spoken English.
Scholarships and tuition fees
The tuition fee for the ALGANT Master programme is €4000,- a year. The ALGANT consortium offers different kind of scholarships based on academic merit.
Students that need help to cover the tuition fees, can apply for the ALGANT Excellence Scholarship programme (ALExS).

Scholarships for advanced bachelor’s, master’s degrees and continuing education programme in Belgium
Three types of training are offered through the international training scholarships
How to apply?
Applications for scholarships must be submitted in accordance with the application procedure and meet the eligibility criteria described below. The selection of scholarship holders is made by a selection panel for each training course after analysis of their administrative admissibility by ARES.
All applications received between the first and last day of the call will be treated equally. ARES encourages applications from women. For equal quality, women will be given preference.
Scholarships for advanced bachelor’s, master’s degrees and continuing education programme offer nationals from our partner countries the chance to pursue a one-year advanced bachelor’s or master’s degree programme or a 2-to-6-month continuing education programme within a higher education institution of the Federation Wallonia-Brussels, Belgium.
The call for applications for the academic year 2022-2023 is now open.

Commonwealth Scholarships for developing countries 2021
Purpose : To contribute to the development needs of Commonwealth countries by supporting research that will have a developmental impact.
Commonwealth PhD Scholarships are for candidates from least developed countries and fragile States in the Commonwealth, for full-time doctoral study at a UK university.
Intended beneficiaries: High-quality graduates who have the potential to undertake world-class research of a developmental nature and to become influential leaders, teachers, or researchers in their home countries.
Funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), Commonwealth PhD Scholarships enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills required for sustainable development, and are aimed at those who could not otherwise afford to study in the UK.

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships 2021
Purpose: To contribute to development needs of Commonwealth countries by providing training for skilled and qualified professionals in key development areas.
Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships are for candidates from least developed, low, and lower middle-income Commonwealth countries, for part-time Master’s study by distance learning on selected courses offered by UK universities. These scholarships are funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
Eligibility information
The university is responsible for ensuring its candidates meet the CSC’s eligibility criteria.
To apply for a Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship, candidates must:
- Be a citizen of or be granted refugee status from an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person
- Be permanently and continually resident in an eligible Commonwealth country
- Hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard. A lower qualification and sufficient relevant experience may be considered in certain cases
- All candidates must provide at least one reference
- All candidates must hold an offer to start their chosen course of study in the 2022
Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships may not be held concurrently for more than one course.
If selected for a scholarship, candidates must be and remain resident in an eligible Commonwealth country and must not undertake study towards any other qualification for the duration of their award.
